My name is Jennifer Davis. I spent years as a driven professional, juggling responsibilities, chasing productivity, and trying to silence the nagging voice inside that kept whispering, “There has to be more than this.

From the outside, my life looked “successful.” I was respected, reliable, and always getting things done. But deep down? I felt like I wanted more out of life.

Time and location freedom was something I always longed for to be able to use my gifts, travel to conferences, and be a future mom without becoming burnt out like so many people that were around me.

Then I became a stay at home mom and everything shifted. I loved my daughter deeply, but I wasn’t prepared for how much I’d miss the sense of purpose and belonging I had in my career.

I went from daily socialization and being needed amongst clients I was helping to a place where the days started blending together. The silence, though special, grew heavy.

While I was grateful to be home with my daughter, I quietly grieved the version of me that used to feel alive, independent, creative, capable, and successful. I loved my child and at the same time I knew that there had to be a way to spend the first precious moments of her life together with her while becoming a successful businesswoman which is what I always wanted.

For years, I searched for something, anything that would allow me to be present at home and reignite that deeper purpose but nothing fit. Everything felt out of alignment, until this.

In one of the most spiritually pivotal seasons of my life, God opened a door, a business model that I had no idea existed. I researched remote opportunities for several years prior to having a baby because my goal always was to work from home and combine time, freedom, and purpose, and faith in a way that finally made sense.

I didn't want to become a burnt out mom, like so many I had known who tried balancing work and home life. It wasn’t easy. It wasn’t instant. But it was right.

Today, I’m building a life that doesn’t force me to choose between purpose and presence. Now? I’m walking in freedom I used to just daydream about. I still work, but I’m not buried under it.

I’m using my voice, my creativity, and my gifts in a way that actually serves others and honors the life God gave me.

I’m finally building from a place of peace not pressure. So if you’re in the place of being grateful but aching, blessed but burnt out, present but longing for more, you’re not alone.

You’re not too late.

You’re not selfish for wanting more.

You’re just being called higher.

Maybe, just maybe this is the door you’ve been asking God to open.
